Why UK prices jumped in 2025
Eli Lilly, the maker, lifted the UK list price on 1 September 2025. The 15mg pen rose from £122 to £330 at list. Pharmacies absorbed part of the rise through supply deals, which is why today's 15mg prices sit below the list figure and differ between sellers.
What arrives in the box
One KwikPen with four doses of tirzepatide. Pharmacies usually add pen needles and a sharps bin. The pen needs a fridge on arrival, so open the parcel the day the courier delivers.
Licence and NHS
Private pharmacies prescribe Mounjaro (tirzepatide) to adults with a BMI of at least 30, or at least 27 alongside a weight related condition. Work out your BMI. The NHS applies narrower rules: Mounjaro NHS eligibility.
