Switch pharmacy and keep your dose
You are free to switch pharmacy at any time. The new pharmacy continues the dose you are on, or supplies the next one up if you are due. Your first order there earns the first order price.

Your dose travels with you
Changing supplier does not send you back to the starter pen. Show proof of your current dose and the new prescriber picks up from there. Due an increase? Ask for the next dose in the same order.
A first order at every dose
First order prices exist for every dose, not only the starter. Today the cheapest first order for Mounjaro 10mg is £193 and for Wegovy 2.4mg £113. Find yours on the Mounjaro table or the Wegovy table.
The exception: gaps
Missed a few weeks? Say so. After a break your body tolerates less, and a prescriber may bring you back in at a lower dose to avoid a rough restart.
Proof pharmacies accept
A clear photo of the pharmacy label on your last box. An order confirmation email. Some also ask for photo ID and a full length photo or video call, because the GPhC expects weight and height to be verified.
Timeline
- Day 1. Pick the pharmacy from the price table for your next dose, open its code and check the GPhC number.
- Day 1. Complete the consultation and upload proof.
- Days 2 to 4. Prescriber review, dispatch, delivery.
- After delivery. Cancel any automatic refill at the old pharmacy.
Start a week before your pen runs out.
A script for the consultation
Write this in the free text box: your medicine and dose, the date you started this dose, the date of your last injection, your starting and current weight, and "I am transferring from another UK pharmacy and attach proof of supply."
Mistakes which cause delays
- A blurred label photo
- A weight which does not match your earlier records
- Ordering two days before you run out
- Leaving an old subscription running
Check a pharmacy. Switching medicine instead?

Yes, at any pharmacy you have not ordered from before.
Can the new pharmacy put my dose up?
Yes, after four weeks or more on your present dose and with the prescriber's agreement.
Is switching pharmacy allowed by the regulator?
Yes. Each pharmacy must carry out a proper consultation of its own.
